Market conditions of network providers in rural India.

Now, In India we see a lot of opportunities for telecom operators, every one want to ahead in the race of gaining market share. But now as we see the current scenario we find that urban areas are completely saturated but we have much more expectations from rural India. Capturing the rural market is not an easy game, because retaining the customers in rural market is one of the great challenge in front of the game players. In rural India customers are not much worry about the particular number, they only prefer and can go for any network where they get the maximum satisfaction in terms of network, ease of availability and the most important is low call rates and services.
The best thing a company can do is to make retailers happy to win the rural India game and make the brand most visible in the retail outlets in the form of point of sales and purchase. In rural market T.V, Radio and other electronic advertising mode are less effective as compared to Print media like News paper and other mediums. Customers in rural areas are most dissatisfied with the VAS, so the companies should start some Value added services like Telling them about weather, fluctuations in the grain market, and other information in which they can see their benefit.
To increase the brand recall company can connect its brand with any other popular local business to win the customers mind share.Something innovative should be done here in this field or you can say in all the competitive fields "speed matters more than detailed analysis". like Vodafone in U.S launched the project in which blind people can do bank's ATM transaction by using value added service of network. Idea also delivering Caffe Coffe Day and Barista menu to your mobile phone through sms.Marketing is not an accident it is proper planning and timely execution.
Thanks.......
